Adjustments to Scheduled Lesson Times
Tides below 1.6 ft above MLLW don't provide enough water to operate our regular rescue skiffs from the dock at CSC.
The "Sketchmobile", our low tide rescue skiff, can operate in tides as low as -0.5 ft. However, only a few of our dinghies have kickup rudders that can operate in tides below 0.0 ft, and strong (>10 knots) south winds can make it very difficult to sail away from the docks, while strong north winds will impede returning.
So before coming down for lessons, please check the tide page and wind!
