Introductory Sails

Cal Sailing Club offers free introductory sails to the general public twelve times a year. Come sail the San Francisco Bay on our sailboats and learn the most important aspects of boating safety.

Club members volunteer to provide these introductory sails, which are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive at our clubhouse between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to sign up on the list. Wear warm, waterproof clothing, and bring a change of clothes in case you get wet!

Please note: children must be at least five years old and accompanied by a parent or guardian.

These introductory sails are weather permitting! If it is raining, sailing will be canceled.
